btw: the "standard" way of eating the Chico's tacos is to ease the fork into the end of the taco like a forklift. I bought some plastic storage containers that are close to the same width and length (and deeper) than the Chico's bowls. I bring home extra Chico's tacos and put the extras into the fridge in the storage containers. That way, the next day or two, I just pop open a container, pour some sauce from the cups and microwave for 2 minutes. The containers can hold a double order. Before you go to the store to buy the containers, spread your hand and measure the tacos to your hand. That way at the store you spread your hand to see if the tacos will fit.

This is how I make the sauce: one 7oz can of Herdez Salsa Casera one 8oz can of tomato sauce 8 cups of water and boil until you get it to the consistency that you want. the same sauce is good for making tortilla soup. it's easy and you don't have to cut anything.

Lime mayo and no tajin. Yajin and chamoy are used for fruits and vegetables if you like it that way its all good. But most elotes do not put tajin on it. Its lime mayo, cotija and Valentina thats it
